Rapana set for six months out after shoulder surgery

12 November 2018 11:23

Canberra Raiders and New Zealand wing Jordan Rapana will be out for six months after undergoing shoulder surgery.

The flyer will go under the knife this week, having sustained a dislocated shoulder in the Kiwis' defeat in the second Test against England at Anfield on November 4.

Canberra expect Rapana to miss at least 10 rounds of the 2019 NRL season as he recovers from the procedure.

Raiders team-mate Ata Hingano had surgery on his shoulder and is not expected to be fit until round six at the earliest.

Canberra captain Jarrod Croker is back in light training following a knee problem.
